In June 2004, after nearly ten years of ministry within a denominational setting, it became clear that a change was needed. That change was guided by two foundational biblical principles.
The first principle is doctrinal purity. We believe that salvation is by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that every true believer is kept eternally by that same grace. The second principle is the autonomy of the local church. We believe that Jesus Christ alone is the Head of the church; therefore, each local church is to remain independent from the authority of any denomination, convention, association, or outside governing body.
Ambassador Baptist Church is a warm and welcoming congregation with a heart for people in our community and around the world. We are grateful for the privilege of serving central Arkansas through the Great Commission our Saviour, Jesus Christ, has given to us. We believe God has established this church as a place where people can hear the truth of His Word and grow in their relationship with Him.
